1. Sponsor
The $500 Viral Shot Challenge (the "Challenge") is run by Shoot Your Shot ("Sponsor"). Contact: support@shootyourshot.com.
2. No purchase necessary
No purchase or payment of any kind is necessary to enter or win. Buying Premium or any in-app item does not increase your chances of winning. Apple Inc., Google LLC, TikTok and Instagram (Meta) are not sponsors of, and are not involved in, this Challenge in any way.
3. Who can enter
Open to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who are 18 or older at the time of entry and have a Shoot Your Shot account with a published application. Void where prohibited. Employees of Sponsor and members of their immediate households are not eligible.
4. Dates
The Challenge starts October 4, 2026 and entries must be submitted by 11:59 PM Eastern Time on January 31, 2027. Community goal: once 500 qualifying entries are in, a 14-day competition window begins. If 500 entries are not reached by January 17, 2027, the Challenge still runs to January 31, 2027 and every qualifying entry is judged; the $500 prize is still awarded.
5. How to enter
Make an original video on TikTok or Instagram Reels featuring your Shoot Your Shot application, post it publicly, tag @shootyourshot and use #ShootYourShotChallenge, then paste the video link into the Go Viral screen in the app. Up to 3 entries per person. Entries must be your own original content, must not show another user's identity without consent, and must follow TikTok's and Instagram's rules. Entries that are hateful, sexual, harassing, or that use bought views or engagement are disqualified.
6. Judging
Sponsor selects 10 finalists based on verified performance (views and genuine engagement), then picks one winner using these weights: Performance 40%, Shoot Your Shot impact (visits and shots your video sends to your application) 30%, Creativity 30%. Sponsor's decisions are final.
7. Prize
One (1) prize of $500 USD, paid by PayPal, Venmo or Zelle within 30 days after the winner is confirmed. The winner will be contacted in the app or by text/email and must reply within 7 days, or an alternate winner may be selected. The winner may be asked to sign a declaration of eligibility and provide tax information. The winner is responsible for all taxes. Prize is not transferable.
8. Your content
You keep ownership of your video. By entering, you allow Sponsor to repost and share your video, with credit, on Shoot Your Shot's social channels and marketing for 12 months.
9. General
Sponsor may cancel, change or suspend the Challenge if fraud, technical problems or anything else outside its control affects it. By entering you agree to these rules and release Sponsor, Apple, Google, TikTok and Meta from any claims connected with the Challenge.
